A former “trophy wife in the making” (LUCKY) returns to her ex-boyfriend’s (BRAD) suburban home, looking for someone, anyone, to listen to her story. When Laura, Brad’s new girlfriend, joins her in the backyard, the film opens into an unexpected exchange between two women caught in the same emotional orbit.

Through sharply comic and painfully intimate flashbacks, Lucky recounts the collapse of her identity, the generational wounds of loving the wrong man, and the fear of becoming just another woman swallowed whole by heartbreak.

Anchored in bold visual storytelling and dark humour, LUCKY is a portrait of female inheritance, the myths we build around men, and the quiet moments of solidarity that form in the spaces where love has already failed.
